They should address a specific topic in computer\u00a0vision and provide a comprehensive overview of the topic, focusing on\u00a0education rather than being just a survey of techniques.<\/p>\n<p>Details on how to prepare and submit a tutorial proposal are available at the page <a title=\"Tutorial proposals submission guidelines\" href=\"http:\/\/eccv2012.unifi.it\/submissions\/call-for-tutorials\/tutorial-proposals-submission-guidelines\/\">Tutorial proposals submission guidelines<\/a>. A typical Tutorial duration is one day.\u00a0Half-day tutorials are also admitted. The Tutorial date for ECCV 2012 is October 7th, 2012.\u00a0The Tutorial outlines (1 page) will be published together with the proceedings of the main conference.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to comprehensive presentations of specific research areas, we encourage teaching methods promoting effective grasping of fundamental concepts in emerging techniques, e.g., through well-prepared practicals and group work.
