Demos submission guidelines

Technical Demonstrations will provide live evidence of innovative solutions in the field of Computer Vision and its applications, showing leading edge research at work.

Technical Demos submissions should consist of:

  • a 4-page paper in PDF format, following the ECCV 2012 proceedings style.
  • a short presentation of the demo which can be a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation, a Macromedia Flash presentation, or an MPEG/WMV video clip (not more than 3 minutes long).

The files of the presentation of the demo should be packed into one using zip for upload as supplementary material, where each file is named using the assigned CMT paper number. The submission should be registered and the all the files uploaded through the CMT system.

All submissions will be peer-reviewed to ensure quality. An award will be given for the best technical demonstration, as judged by an evaluation panel. Demo papers accepted will be included in the ECCV 2012 proceedings.

At the Conference, demonstrators will be provided with space and access to a local network (but the demo should not rely on Internet access). The participants will be required to provide their own computing equipment and any additional hardware (e.g. network, display, haptic, sensor) needed for the demonstration.
