The ECCV 2012 event includes the ECCV2012 Main Conference, from October 8th to October 11th, Tutorials on October 7th, and companion Workshops on October 7th, 12th and 13th. Access to the Tutorials is free for all registered attendees. Registration for the ECCV2012 Main Conference also includes free access to all Workshops. A 3-days Workshops-only pass is offered to those attending only the Workshops.
In order to better allocate space and provide a better service to the audience, attendees are requested to indicate at registration the Tutorial(s) and Workshop(s) that they plan to attend.
Authors are invited to read carefully the instructions below before completing the registration.
The maximum number of ECCV 2012 registrations has been reached.

Author Registration
Conference papers: each paper accepted must be covered by at least one author’s registration no later than the conference paper camera-ready deadline (August 1st, 2012). Each registration can cover at most 1 paper. Should one author have multiple papers accepted he/she should encourage a different co-author to register for each paper to avoid being charged for additional papers. The first paper must be registered at REGULAR rate, whether the author is a Student or not. Registration of the other papers can be made at STUDENT rate if the author is a Student.
When registering a paper use the paper ID provided by CMT, e.g. 3456.

Visa and Invitation Letters
Italy has joined the Schengen system giving total freedom of movement within all the territories of the Schengen agreement signatory states. Admission to Italian territory for nationals of all the countries of the European Union and the European Economic Area is permitted if in possession of a valid passport or another travel document recognised as valid by the Italian government. Nationals of any other states outside the Schengen Area should check the visa requirements for admission to Italian territory at: www.esteri.it.
ECCV 2012 can provide official letters of invitation to persons who have registered for the conference/workshops and for which payment has been received. To request an invitation letter, fill the web form.
In case of problems contact the Visa Chair by email at berretti@dsi.unifi.it and provide the following information:
• Name, affiliation, and postal address.
• Paper ID and paper title, if applicable.
• “Request for ECCV 2012 Invitation Letter” as the subject of your email.
You are also suggested to report your request in the “note” field of the on-line registration form. We will not issue visa letters without confirmation that you have registered and paid.
Refund Policy
All refund requests must be made via email to Consulta Umbria (congressi@consultaumbria.com). All cancellations will be subject to a 100 Euro cancellation fee before September 1st, 2012. NO REFUNDS will be made after September 1st, 2012. You are allowed to change the name on the registration without penalty.
